My Role
As Director of Photography and Lead Editor for five episodes of Healing Gardens season 2 (2023), I helped shape the visual and emotional language of the series. From lush gardens in Mexico and Canada to sacred landscapes in Hawaii and Spain, I captured the quiet intimacy and vibrant life of each space.
Through careful framing, natural light, and rhythmical editing, my role was to bring the transformative power of nature to the screen, allowing viewers not just to see these gardens, but to feel them.
My Vision
I’ve always had a sharp eye for framing and a strong sense of visual storytelling, and that really came into play on Healing Gardens. I handled the camera work with care — making sure each shot felt intentional, whether we were deep in a lush forest in Hawaii or under the soft light of a Spanish garden.I also led the visual direction on location, helping the crew stay aligned with the mood and feel we wanted to create. Then in the edit, I brought it all together — shaping each episode with rhythm and emotion, making sure the story didn’t just look beautiful, but truly resonated with people.
